A covered cat retreat built on a real wood base with tapered legs, so it reads as a piece of mid-century furniture. A light cream velvet exterior contrasts with a dark, cozy velvet interior to create the secluded den cats gravitate toward, and a high-density memory foam cushion supports older joints. The interior cushion cover lifts off for the machine, and a backup liner for the pillow ships alongside it.
